Andrew Langham (B Com)
Chairman
Andrew has joined the executive leadership team at
Murray & Roberts from 1 February 2007 and is located
at Corporate Office.
Andrew worked at Murray & Roberts between 1994 and
1998 as divisional financial director in the
Contractors Group. He was active with our
engineering services, mining and marine contracting
operations both locally and internationally.
Andrew was appointed financial director of Avis
Southern Africa in 1998, which also included
operations in Scandinavia and Australia. Andrew was
appointed Group Financial Director of Barloworld
Motors in 2004.
Andrew spent his early career before Murray &
Roberts as group finance manager of a Cape Town
based national construction company. |

Terence (Terry) William Rensen FCA, CA(SA), FCMA
Non-Executive Director
Terry joined Murray & Roberts in 2002 as Executive Chairman of
Consani Engineering. Since then he has provided corporate executive
leadership to Consani and UCW and continues in a corporate role with
these operations, particularly in further development of the UCW
Partnership.
Terry gained significant international business experience over a
number of years while holding senior executive positions in the
industrial and engineering sector, including Finance Director, and
later Chief Executive, of listed engineering group NEI Africa. |

Vaneshree Naidoo BSc(Hons) Eng (
Mech)
Managing Director
Vaneshree started her career in Murray & Roberts on an
engineering bursary and joined Genrec in 1997 after
qualifying with a BSc (Hons) (Mech Eng).
Following a few years of involvement in heavy steel
fabrication projects, in 1999 Vaneshree was awarded an 18
month scholarship for advance production engineering and
management training including practical work in Germany,
where she became proficient in the German language.
On her return, in September 2000 Vaneshree was assistant
project manager on the Muskeg River Oil Sands structural
steel supply contract and subsequently project engineer on
the Mozal II potshell fabrication project.
During September 2002, Vaneshree transferred to Murray &
Roberts Concessions where she has played a key role in many
aspects of the Gautrain Rapid Rail Link project from bidding
through to financial close in January 2007. She has also
been an active member of other concession bids and
investment management processes.
Vaneshreee represents Murray & Roberts as a board member of
the following concession project companies:
She was appointed Managing Director of Murray & Roberts

Caswell Makama BSc (Agriculture)
Executive Director
Caswell rejoined the Group in 2005 as a senior
executive in Murray & Roberts Limited. In his
previous period of employment he was managing
director of Murray & Roberts Properties.
Caswell has been chairperson of Onderstepoort
Biological Products and advisor to the Ministers of
Public Enterprises and Public Works, and is
chairperson of the Free State Investment Promotion
Agency. He has played a key role in the
transformation of the construction industry leading
tot he formation of the Construction Industry
Development Board (CIDB). He has also been involved
in a Parliamentary Leadership Development programme
through the Africa Leadership Development Institute.
Caswell was appointed an Executive Director of
Murray & Roberts Concessions in October 2007. |

Li Long Huang BAcc CA (SA)
Financial ManagerLi
Long is a Chartered Accountant by profession. She completed
articles at PWC in 2006 and stayed on as an audit manager
for a year.
She joined Murray & Roberts
Concessions in March 2008 as a Financial Manager. |

Nicolas (Nic) Meyer MSc
(Building) MPM PMSA
Manager - Commercial Projects
Nic is a professional manager and executive in the
construction industry. His competencies grew out of
management of building and process plant projects, general
project management and concession projects.
Nic was transferred to Murray & Roberts Concessions from
Concor Concessions, retaining his position as general
manager of the Chapman's Peak Drive Concession and
participation in PPP projects. |

Ron Parker PrEng MBA BSc(Hons) CEng MICE FSAICE AAArb
Manager - Commercial ProjectsRon is a Civil Engineer by
profession. Ron joined Murray & Roberts in 1976 after working for
Bechtel. Ron was trained initially by George Wimpey in the United
Kingdom.
Ron's expertise and knowledge are focused on:
- Contracts and contractual relationships, rights and
obligations
- Risk identification, analysis, allocation, transfer, management
- Insurances – risk transfer, contractual and insurance claims
- Major complex projects especially design-build and SPR.
Ron transferred to Murray & Roberts Concessions in 2002 and
spent five years on the Gautrain Rapid Rail Link project from
inception to financial close, as Bid Coordinator for the Bombela
Bid Consortium.
He represents Murray & Roberts on the board of NTRV and NTRC,
the concessionaire involved in the N1 Bela-Bela (Warmbaths) to
Polokwane (Pietersburg) toll road. |

Yunus Karodia BCom (CA(SA)) Yunus Karodia was Financial
Manager of Murray & Roberts Concessions until his promotion to the
dual roles of Murray & Roberts Group Financial Manager and Company
Secretary in 2007.
Yunus is a trustee of the Letsema Vulindela Black executive
Trust.
He represents Murray & Roberts on the boards of the N3 Toll Road
and N4 Bakwena Platinum Highway.

Lucy Legodi
Executive Secretary
Lucy joined Murray & Roberts Concessions in 2008. She graduated from
Kelly Greenoaks with a Secretarial Diploma, went further to Damelin
Business College where she completed the Business Management and
Administration Diploma and later went to Birnam Business College
where she acquired a Diploma in Public Relations.
Amongst the companies that she worked for are JH Minets (today’s
Glenrand MIB), Independent Examinations Board, Transnet, Fedics Food
Services and South African Breweries.
Lucy is the Executive Secretary for Murray & Roberts Concessions
and is the first point of contact for all enquiries. |
